02/25/06 This nice looking young man is Christian B. Dobson and is Jack's grandson by his beautiful daughter Danielle. They came to visit at SETW Days. He's standing with 'PR' Yadkin River Blaster.

10/29/2005 We had the pleasure of having Bill and Marge Foote from Kansas come to visit. Bill is the one pointing (I'm sure he was telling a hunting story). Chris Leigh came up from Kings Mountain and of course you know Jack. Bill and Marge, you're welcome to visit any time. I really enjoyed the company.

10/09/2005 Today we had some guests. From the left is David (Dave) Gilroy, (nephew of the late Gordan Gilroy) Pete Barber, (who is Pete's Yadkin River Geoff's hunting partner) Jack Dobson, and Pete's regular hunting partner, Steve Taylor. This represents many years for coonhunting and many years of the Yadkin River bred dogs.
This is Nt. Ch., Gr. Ch. "PR" Yadkin River Lucky. Lucky is male off "PR" Yadkin River Chico and "PR" Yadkin River Dixie. The Dixie X Chico cross was done 8 times.
This is "PR" Yadkin River Heidi Ho. She belongs to Bill Foote from Kansas. We raised Heidi here on the farm. This picture is when she was about 4 months old. There is a released coon up this tree. Notice the little dog under her... it's Max. Heidi is a really nice female and Bill is happy with her.
This is Louie. Louie belongs to Rick Stanley from Chester Va. Louie is 8 year old male off of Yadkin River Blaze and Nocturnal Nellie. Louie is a Nt. Ch. and seems to have his mouth full of fur here! Rick says in his letter about Louie, "Heart the size of Texas and a big softy all rolled into one. Only wish I had gotten him younger, but will stay with him til he's gone. His attitude, mouth and personality has made a believer out of me with YR dogs." Thanks for the letter and photos Rick. Jeanne
This is a coyote that was recently shot by Eric McHone. He was coming right into Eric's back yard. These things are a serious threat to our hounds that may be on a chain or our small pets. I'm afraid it won't be long and we'll be hearing about a child being attacked in their own yard.
Eric was lucky to get this coyote because they can be elusive but this yotes daylight bravery was his undoing......Several times I've been scared out of the woods while hunting because we were surrounded by yotes.....jmd
